Media Uploads

Please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors may download and extract location data from posted images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These last one year.

Visiting the login page sets a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. It’s deleted when you close your browser.

Logging in sets cookies to save your login and display preferences. Login cookies last 2 days (or 2 weeks with “Remember Me”), while display settings last 1 year.

Editing or publishing content saves a cookie with the post ID—no personal data. It expires in one day.

Embedded Content

Our articles or menus may include embedded content (videos, images, offers) from other websites. This behaves just like visiting the source site.

These websites may collect data, use cookies, or track interactions—especially if you’re logged in to those sites.

Data Sharing

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security.

Data Retention

Comments and related metadata are stored indefinitely to auto-approve future comments.

For registered users, we store the profile information provided. Users can view, edit, or delete their info (except usernames). Admins can also edit user info.

Your Rights

You may request an exported file of your personal data or request its deletion. This excludes data we must retain for legal, admin, or security reasons.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through automated spam detection services to keep the site safe.
